Message from the Executive Chairman
College of Medicine and Allied Sciences seeks to close the gap in public medical schools due to limited space to accommodate all prospects into medicine practice. Hence constrains the country with the number of professionally trained medical personnel in our health centres in Ghana.
We are the first to run solely Graduate Entry Medical Programme (GEMP) among our peers, a system that allows first degree holders with a minimum of second class lower honours degree in any science related programme to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Degree in medicine). This avenue enables students with the required background and grades who could not pursue medical studies for their first degrees to do so happily.
I envision that CoMAS will become a universally acclaimed institution that offers contemporary, entrepreneurial and innovative medical training in Ghana. With our innovative curriculum, CoMAS will churn out medical practitioners with entrepreneurial mindset, who are bilingual and ready for the world.
CoMAS also offer BSc. courses in Diagnostic Imaging (Radiography and Sonography) and Health Information Management.
I wish you a successful medical training in CoMAS.
CoMAS! The citadel of a holistic professional medical education.
